Praveen Paramasivam, Reuters, Sept. 25 (Chennai, Sept. 25, Reuters) – A fire broke out at a factory near Chennai in southern India of Taiwan’s He Shuo United Technologies (Pegatron), a supplier to U.S. Apple, on the evening of September 24, according to sources, and on September 25 The assembly of iPhones was temporarily halted on the 25th. The first and second shifts on the 25th were canceled, but the assembly workers have not yet been notified whether the third shift will be canceled. Pegatron told Reuters that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the plant’s electrical equipment.
