According to Jiji Press, on September 20, Kura Sushi announced the launch of a campaign to boost consumption of Japanese marine products. The aim of the campaign is to support fishermen who are struggling in the wake of the total embargo by China. The first product is scallops, which will be available at about 540 stores throughout Japan starting on the 22nd.
