Iwakuni City’s Asahi Shuzo Brewery to Start Sake Brewery in New York State, U.S.A. Full-Scale Global Expansion with Otters Blue, Locally Produced

The Asahi Sake Brewery of Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, known for its sake Ottersai, has opened a new brewery in New York State, USA. The new brewery will produce the new brand “Otters Blue” locally and will begin the challenge of entering the American market in earnest. The Japanese-style building in a small town about 100 kilometers north of Manhattan, New York, is the first sake brewery built overseas by Asahi Shuzo, known for its Otters.
