October 1 is “Sake Day” – according to the October 1 Tamba Shimbun. Tamba Sasayama Sake Festival, the first event to taste local sake and local specialties, is being held at the Otemae South Parking Lot in Kitashinmachi, Tamba Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture, on Oct. 30 and Oct. 1. 1 is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is open to the public and is free of charge.
