According to the September 26 Minnano Keizai Shimbun, the sake event “All over Japan, Sake Cheers! 2023 in Nihonmatsu” will be held on October 1 at Nihonmatsu Shimin Koryu Center (Honmachi, Nihonmatsu City, TEL 0243-24-1215). (This will be the seventh time the event has been held in conjunction with “Sake Day” established by the Central Association of Sake Brewers of Japan. The event will be hosted by the Nihonmatsu Tourist Association. Although the event was once in jeopardy due to the restrictions of the Corona Disaster, it has been held in a different style, using the Kasumigajo parking lot for a drive-through style, and with stalls offering sake to the customers as they go around. For the first time in four years, the event will be held in the traditional stand-up style, where visitors can freely visit the booths and drink sake. The Urban Hotel will also provide snack box lunches.
