ASUS SimPro Dock 2
According to ITmedia on September 27, ASUS Japan announced the ASUS SimPro Dock 2, a multifunctional external expansion dock, and began selling it today. The expected retail price is 29,800 yen (including tax).
This external expansion dock supports USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 3) connectivity and has USB port, Gigabit-compatible wired LAN, 1 HDMI, 2 DisplayPort, and 1 analog D-Sub as interfaces. Video output supports up to 8K (7680 x 4320 pixels).
It also features an ISO/IEC7816-compliant IC card reader. The main unit measures 40.6 (W) x 99 (D) x 161.5 (H) mm and weighs approximately 650 g.
